Final Fantasy "Ban Something" Part IV

Some kind of connection issue broke the stream into chunks, so after Matoya's Cave it continued:
There were two more silly highlights that emerged in this final section of session 4: One is titled "I've Made a Huge Mistake" and one is titled "Finding True Love or Counting Forest Tiles on the Internet". "I've Made a Huge Mistake" was pretty popular on the GameFAQs FF1 NES board; everyone agreed it was a pretty amazing blunder and that my reaction to it was amusing. I posed to them, "I'd welcome some opinions on the choice made here and paths to fix it."
A bit of a spoiler here if you think you may enjoy that clip: In brief, what happened is I went into the Elfland weapon store after saving up and raiding some Mystic Key treasures. My big plan was to sell some of the goodies I'd got and buy two of Elfland's very overpowered Silver Swords... and then I sold my treasure and left the store, forgetting to buy the swords, and immediately realized I couldn't violate ELQUEMANDA4's rule that I was only allowed to enter a given store once.
Ugh.

I just did session 4 on Twitch.
Got through Wizards (2nd try), Astos (2nd try), then did some looting and made a rather hilarious and significant error related to one of the rules. Here are the highlights from yesterday:

This included some diatribe about solo thief play, which later got me into a long red wizard vs. ninja monologue during the lengthy approach to Matoya's Cave.
