This sixth session was played on July 20, 2017.
At about this point I was posting about this run a bit on the Four Job Fiesta board on GameFAQs. There's not really much in the way of substantial info, though.
The scene with Kelger was a little bit different in this version of the game... but before I proceeded, I thought I'd take a crack at the Gil Turtle. Y'know, I am not sure Gil Turtle hunting has ever worked out for me, but I almost always try anyway. It did not work out for me.

Then it was onto Drakenvale. As usual, there's nothing unusual in the approach to Drakenvale with this team; we've got a knight for muscle, our white mage has lots of healing, yadda yadda. There was an interesting moment where a Dancing Dagger-confused Drippy used Reset, which I don't think I had ever seen before.

It took me three attempts to save Golem from undead dragons because Bartzsss kept whiffing his attacks. We don't particularly benefit from acquiring Golem as a team with a summoner would, obviously. The Golem battle kind of lingers briefly after you rescue him, which resulted in a funny moment where Faris stole from him and he immediately thanked us.
The one thing that ends up nice for us in Drakenvale is that the boss is more-or-less weak against multi-target attacks, particularly ones with fire, so Lenna had that covered. We were hit with a single attack in the entire fight.

We went to Surgate Castle but there's really absolutely nothing benefitting my team there. Next, we headed to Xezat's fleet. We stole Gilgamesh's Genji Gloves and kept most of the focus on him even when Enkidu showed up. I tried confusing them, but that didn't help. We ended up beating Gilgamesh before Enkidu. A couple of lucky Sword Dances really sped things up.

The ending of this session got boring at the Barrier Tower often does. It's not that Barrier Tower is bad or anything, it just happens to be an important place to grind out a few rarely dropped or rarely stolen items that enable some strategies. In this case, I spent over an hour inside the Barrier Tower and didn't even finish it during this session. I died an awful lot attempting to fight Red Dragons and Yellow Dragons. We did beat the Red Dragon to claim the Blood Sword, but that's not really a huge difference-maker in this game.
It seems that I was trying to get Flame Rings from the Red Dragons rather than emphasizing the Reflect Rings from the Reflect Knights, which makes sense since I have a thief. Getting Flame Rings here can be pretty tough, since it’s stealing from very high level enemies. It may have been somewhat doomed from the start. That hour plus without much in the way of results was enough for me; I'm not going to end up holding out for those.
